How to report a problem or ask for something.

AuraDeck is made by one person, and the fastest route to a fix is a clear description of what went wrong.

Reporting a problem

Write to support@auradeck.org. A useful report usually has:

  • The platform you are on, with its version, and the AuraDeck version from File → About.
  • What you did, what you expected, and what happened instead.
  • The deck, if you can share it. A deck that reproduces the problem is worth more than any description of it, and .adsl files are small.

If the app misbehaved rather than crashed, the log helps:

RUST_LOG=auradeck=debug auradeck

Asking for something

Feature requests are welcome and are read. The ones that get built soonest tend to describe the situation rather than the solution: what you were trying to do, and what made it awkward. That leaves room for a better answer than the one either of us thought of first.

What is already known

The changelog lists what has shipped, and the FAQ covers the questions that come up most. Both are worth a glance before writing in.
